tertained, learning and loving soccer.
I'll be the first to tell you, there is no shortage of soccer books with practice plans and drills on the Internet.
Despite knowing the market was completely over saturated, I decided to proceed with this book anyways because I knew that I could bring something much different to volunteer youth coaches.
From the coaches perspective, this book is designed to do two things:
Make your practices fun and your season successful.
Each practice in this book has been carefully crafted to improve your soccer team, pretty much regardless of how much knowledge or coaching experience you have. For those who would like to coach, but don't feel they know enough or have time to plan practice, this book could help you immensely.
Let me get this squared away, too. I am not some internet marketing jerk trying to sell you some crappy book. I hope I don't come off as that on this web page, but the simple fact is I do have to be convincing or I know you won't check out my practices. And trust me, my practices deliver, or your money back, which you can read more about below.
I am a soccer player, fan, and coach who has put much effort into producing the practices and drills in this book for the purpose of educating volunteer youth soccer coaches. I have been involved in youth soccer for a long time as both a player and a coach, and I know the game.
Be it U-12, U-14, U-16 or U-18, I know you will find these drills and practices highly relevant to your team.

Diagrams & Coaching Points w/Every Drill
First off, each drill is diagrammed and explained in full detail with instructions that make complete sense.
Other soccer drill books have confusing drawings and the explanations are way too wordy. The drills in this book are broken down in a way that even the coaching rookie will understand.
My coaching points will give you items to discuss and address with your team. They are broad enough that you will be able to easily convey the points to your players.
Rather than forcing you to "over coach," the drill will effectively be the teacher and you will be there to guide the team along using the broader points and recommendations.

Over 20 Videos & Other Graphics to Illustrate
I have put together some of my own videos, and scoured the internet to find the best videos to illustrate the topics your players need to learn about. The videos will help you to understand.
The drills will help you to visualize the points I am trying to make with each drill. Regardless of how much prior soccer knowledge you possess, the drills and instructions within them are easy to understand and execute.
ALSO INCLUDED:
A seperate .pdf with each drill from the book listed, many with multiple variations. In all, there are over 99 variations listed in this booklet!
What These Practices Essentially Provide:
A Plan For Training your Team
There is a limited amount of time for your team to practice each week so it is very important to maximize the time you do have. Having a plan for soccer practice is vital to your success because it will allow you to effectively cover everything that you need to in order to further your players skills and understanding of the game of soccer.
There are many skills that every soccer player must work on and perfect and making sure to cover each should be a priority of your practice schedule. Also, it is important to be able to track what you have done as well as know where you want to go, and having everything planned out beforehand will allow you to do this.
Progression Over the Season
The drills your team works on in practice should progress over the span of a season. You don’t want to be working on the same thing over and over, but at the same time each drill should have the element of familiarity to it. The drills should expand into new areas that allow players to build on what they have already learned.
Most importantly, your players should know what they are supposed to take from each drill at practice. My coaching points will explain to you what each of my drills is trying to accomplish with your team.
The Ability to Alter the Course
The Drill Bible will give you the ability to adjust the rate at which you progress during the season using variations. You will have plenty to keep you busy, as well as vary the pace based on the necessities of your team. You will even be able to adjust the "Competitiveness" of the drill by making it into a game and keeping score.
Quality Drills and Practice Designs
The order of the practices and the drills within them have been laid out with careful consideration and are designed to make sure your players develop fundamentally before advanced on to more advanced concepts of team play. The kids on your team will actually show up to practice because this book will make it fun, exciting and rewarding.
WHY THESE PRACTICES WILL WORK WONDERS
Balancing the aspects of fun and work is a vital part of being successful in improving your team. These factors are each reflected within the practices in this manual.
Any good coach knows that while it is important to get in work at soccer practice doing specific training exercises, your players must also maintain interest in the drills. The minute practice stops being fun, players stop learning, and they may even quit showing up completely.
Players like to scrimmage, but if you spent all of your practice time scrimmaging your team would not learn much. You can however, weave less entertaining but necessary drills in with other dynamic exercises that will focus your players learning, and keep their full attention.
Small-sided games, stipulated games and other drills that involve elements of scrimmaging are a great way to let players play the game but guide their play to work on certain aspects of the game. Rules, for example limiting the number of passes before a shot can occur, or regulating the number of touches on the ball is a great way to keep the drill stimulating for players and valuable for improving their skills.
A good practice plan must also progress over the span of the season. You want to start your players with the fundamentals to make sure they are grounded, and then progress the drill set to new levels that relate to the old drills, but take players understanding further.
Learning is fun, and players enjoy being challenged. This book will take care of everything!
